š¶ A warm welcome to Singa! š¶
𦸠First off you will be provided with credentials to our portal
where you will be assigned songs as tasks to complete.
š¹ļø Go to link: portal.singa.com and log in.
Pick a song/task and press āSTART TASKā
Begin each new song project by listening to the song in portal and checking that the version there is the most popular studio version.
If the version is wrong, āFLAG TASKā and add a note with text āliveā, āinstrumentalā or āremixā to avoid unnecessary work.
However, if "live" or "remix" is mentioned in the song title, you can proceed with the task as usual.
If the version is a clean/censored version of an explicit song, also "FLAG TASK" so we can find you the original version.
Proceed to fetch the lyrics through portal and make a transcription (see "How to make a transcription" in Help Center).
AND remember that in the beginning the pace might be slower while learning the tools, but it will get faster š„
Important things to remember:
Use a Chromium based browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. (For example Safari or Firefox will cause issues.)
If you encounter a song that has the wrong language marked in our system, donāt make the lyrics even if you know the language, instead flag the song to let us know. šš»
There is no obligation to edit a certain amount of songs per week or per month but do be so kind and shoot us a message if youāre planning to take a break from editing for over 2 weeks!
And always remember that high volume of work should never come at the cost of quality.
Onboarding process:
After the test song, you will complete a batch of 5ā10 songs with closer review and feedback from our team to learn the guidelines and the workflow.
If the first batch of 5-10 songs goes well, we will clear you for auto-assignment of songs and your TO DO -list will always have 5 songs for you to make.
We are expecting publication-ready lyrics on the first submission but of course mistakes are completely normal in the beginning, and we are happy to help you improve!
However if the same errors continue repeatedly after the initial feedback, we may need to limit the number of songs assigned to you to keep our review workload manageable.
If the issues persist even after further feedback, we unfortunately will not be able to continue the collaboration. We would of course love to work with every motivated person who joins us, but we also need to keep the same quality standards for everyone.
