❕Important❕

Before sending an invoice, you must first submit a billing report through Singa Portal and wait for it to be approved.

Only tasks included in an approved billing report can be invoiced.

The billing report helps you identify which tasks are ready for billing and prepare your invoice. It does not process payments or replace invoicing, so you must still submit your invoice separately as usual.

Please do not send an invoice before your billing report has been approved.

How to create a billing report

Follow these steps to create and submit your report:

  1. Go to My Tasks → Ready for Billing

  1. Set the date range

    • The report should ideally cover one full calendar month (e.g. Jan 1–31)

    • Please note that the monthly cut-off for submitting tasks for review is always 2–3 days before the end of the month. This gives us time to review your tasks before you prepare your billing report. However, we recommend waiting until the end of the month to create your report, as we may still be able to review tasks submitted after the cut-off. Any tasks still awaiting review at that point can be included in the following month’s billing report.

  2. Select the tasks you want to include

  3. 2× toggle (double compensation) for special cases

    • A detailed explaining note is required when requesting 2× compensation

    • Tasks naturally vary in difficulty and some are quicker, some more time-consuming but 2× compensation is intended only for exceptionally demanding songs that take you more than double your normal editing time

    • Reasons for the request might include

      • Audioshake/AI issues

      • a insane word count/fast lyrics like for example in Eminem - Rap god

      • duet with two completely differently timed vocal lines on top of each other requiring manual creation of the other vocal track

      • track with a lot of sampling in the instrumental that mixes the AI up

      • a musical song with 5 singers or over

    • Max 5% of your monthly tasks

    • All 2× requests are reviewed before approval and can be denied if requested without eligible reason

    • There are only normal and 2x compensation (no 3x, 4x, …)

  4. Add any other notes if needed (task notes or general notes)

  5. Click Save as a draft or Add to existing draft

  6. Go to My Reports

  7. Open your draft report

  8. Review and edit if necessary

  9. Click Submit

After submitting

  • Your report will be reviewed by a manager

  • Please wait for the decision before sending your invoice

If your report is in Changes requested status:

  • Click Convert to Draft

  • Make the necessary changes

  • Submit again

When the report is approved

  • You will see a reference number

  • This must be included in your invoice (but don't forget to add your name also!)

  • It helps us process your invoices faster

ℹ️ Good to know

  • You can include only Completed tasks in billing

  • Once a report is approved, it can no longer be edited

  • The tasks on an approved report are considered invoiced and will not appear in the Ready for billing anymore

  • Please send your invoice at least once every three months
