Hyphenation in the transcription is a helpful and necessary tool so the AI can time syllables instead of whole words, and the lines will color out right in Singa.

Is it possible to hyphenate too much?
There is no harm in hyphenating accidentally a word that maybe wouldn’t have needed it, as long as the hyphenation is done grammarly correct and with the way it’s sung in mind.
Keep in mind the hyphenation rules of your language. For example in English word “saves” looks like a two syllable word with a quick glance but is actually a one syllable word and so will not be hyphenated.
When in doubt about “should I use it here or not”, just use the hyphen because manually splitting the word regions in the lyric editor is much slower than adding that one hyphen in the transcription phase. 👍🏻
